Getting started

Welcome to your organization's knowledge base. This space is yours — fill it with the documents, decisions, and patterns that make your team work.

A few things to know:

  • Every document lives as a markdown file under your org's organize data directory. You can edit through the web UI here, through a connected Google Drive (once you set that up), or directly on disk.
  • The directory tree on the left is your organization structure. The default tree maps a generic customer value chain (marketing → sales → operations → service) plus a team area. You can rename and reshape it any time.
  • Files are version-controlled. Every save is a commit, and the bedrock keeps the full history.

What to do first

  1. Open team/charter.md and write a one-paragraph charter — who you are, what you do, who you do it for.
  2. Open customer-value-chain/marketing/target-audiences.md and list the first two or three audiences you actually serve. Names, not personas.
  3. Connect Google Drive (Set up tile on the dashboard) if you already have files you want to bring in. New files will appear under google-drive/.

That's it. The starter content you're reading now will stay around until you edit or delete it — it's just a scaffold to start from, not a constraint.
